The IEEE Power Electronics Society (PELS) Students and Young Professionals (S&YP) Committee launched a new initiative in July 2023; the IEEE PELS S&YP Spotlight Program. The goals of this spotlight program lie at the core of the committee’s mission, which is to support the engagement and development of students and early career engineers in PELS. By highlighting the work and accomplishments of S&YP members, the spotlight program aims to connect this organizational committee with PELS members and showcase the promise lying in its young talent.
